Endpoint Configuration Engineer.

What do you do in your role?

Administer servers and client devices, via the use of group policy, scem, active directory, Intune and Sophos, amongst other things.

Have you always worked in this role?

No.

What other roles and departments have you worked in during your career?

First Line Service Desk Technician.

What motivated you to move roles?

Learning more, and having more of a challenge.

What support helped you to make this change?

Supervisors and colleagues supported me in gaining the knowledge I required to move teams.

What do you value about progressing your career in S&SHIS?

I value my career progression because it allows me to keep learning and allows me to take on new and different responsibilities.

What would be your best piece of advice to others seeking a career in the S&SHIS?

I would advise them to apply for the S&SHIS, as it is a supportive and encouraging environment where you can progress your career.
